We were fortunate to have the opportunity to work with both Shirley Robinson and Thompson and Suskind on this project. Creating the perfect patina finishing for the three level metal spiral staircase was a challenge but the end result became the centerpiece of this Pacific Heights Beauty.

We have enjoyed working with Fontana Construction in the renovation of this Sausalito Waterfront Retreat. This is a prime example of where Art and Architecture meet. We had been working with this client for a number of years with the patina and restoration of their bronze sculpture collection when we were approached to work on the interior and exterior bronze throughout the home. The structure which could be mistaken as a boutique hotel from the water has magical views of the Golden Gate, Sausalito and San Francisco. It is made up of only curved angles, making the woodworking and finishing a feat of immaculate quality workmanship throughout every inch of the four floor Getaway. It was definitely a highlight to work with such wonderful people and in such beautiful surroundings from every direction.

NightRider Jewelry is an American handcrafted luxury jewelry brand specializing in designer jewelry for the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. We were brought on project to create the rich "oil rubbed bronze" patina metal detailing on the steel throughout the new retail space. The International Marketplace is an open air shopping experience that is a hub for the highest end luxury buyer of brands such as Rolex, Burberry, and COACH. It was an amazing experience to work on a project that keeps company at such an exclusive venue.
Contemporary Bronze Doors are a Dynamic Addition to the Renovation at Kohanaiki, Kona.
At over 67,000 square feet of interior and covered space, overlooking both the 18th hole and the sparkling blue Pacific, the Clubhouse at Kohanaiki, designed by world-renowned architect Shay Zak, focuses on every detail of design and construction making it both the crowning jewel of the coast and vibrant heart of the community. We were working with sculptor Archie Held whom designed the door, incorporating his trademark bronze. We were asked to create a patina that would elevate to the level of quality and design of the fabricated piece while still honoring the thread of contemporary sculpture. Archie’s choice of multiple textured bronze and majestic size proportion gave Karl the ultimate canvas for a superlative patina.

COLEMAN HIGHLINE PROJECT, SAN JOSE, CA.

KARL REICHLEY SCULPTURE PATINA RESTORATION INC. was brought in on the Coleman Highline Project to create the patina finish on all of the COR-TEN Steel features throughout the property. We were able to come up with a custom patina technique that highlighted the vignettes of the architectural structure as well as adding an Artistic Authentic Quality to the overall Development. The location of the Coleman Highline property not only is adjacent to the New Soccer Stadium, but runs parallel to the San Jose International Airport. The strategically placed steel staircases resonate a north, south, east and west concept of travel, replicating the Airport's growing clientele, incoming and departing from around the globe. The first phase of the development will consist of 330,000 square feet of office, a 150-room limited-service extended stay hotel and 15,000 square feet of pop-up retail. The entire project will consist of 1.5 million square feet of office, 300 hotel rooms and 30,000 square feet of retail space. We feel fortunate to have been involved in what will be considered an International Hub.

Palatial Hamptons' Style Residence in Ross, CA.
Ken Linsteadt Architects and Plath & Co. worked on this beautiful remodel creating a Premier Property easily reckoning with the Best of Marin. The interior decor is made up of quality detailing, a spacious layout and museum quality art. We were brought to the project to accent the fireplaces in the main house with patina surrounds. The Cabana Guest House that sits a few tiers down is nestled into the matured landscape. The interior space is cozy as well as inviting with the main sitting area congregated around a majestic fireplace. The patina that we created for the fireplace, staircase and architectural detailing, was one with warmish undertones and black accents which only compliments the clean lines and simple decor.
Our Clients were successful in transforming their quietly monochromatic Sonoma Ranch into a stunning architectural presence through not only the extreme color change of the exterior, but also through the patina finishing on the wide copper detailing which lined the entire home. We so enjoyed working with them on this project as their love for all things authentic allowed us the freedom to create a patina that not only captured their vision but also had an artistic and unique flair. The “living finish” will continue to grow and change, adding to the integrity of the home as well as complimenting the surrounding landscape which has contemporary fine art sculptures. water features and found Objects throughout.
