KARL REICHLEY SCULPTURE PATINA RESTORATION INC. was brought in on the Coleman Highline Project to create the patina finish on all of the COR-TEN Steel features throughout the property. We were able to come up with a custom patina technique that highlighted the vignettes of the architectural structure as well as adding an Artistic Authentic Quality to the overall Development. The location of the Coleman Highline property not only is adjacent to the New Soccer Stadium, but runs parallel to the San Jose International Airport. The strategically placed steel staircases resonate a north, south, east and west concept of travel, replicating the Airport's growing clientele, incoming and departing from around the globe. The first phase of the development will consist of 330,000 square feet of office, a 150-room limited-service extended stay hotel and 15,000 square feet of pop-up retail. The entire project will consist of 1.5 million square feet of office, 300 hotel rooms and 30,000 square feet of retail space. We feel fortunate to have been involved in what will be considered an International Hub.

NightRider Jewelry is an American handcrafted luxury jewelry brand specializing in designer jewelry for the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. We were flown in to create the rich "oil rubbed bronze" patina metal detailing on the steel throughout the new retail space. The International Marketplace is an open air shopping experience that is a hub for the highest end luxury buyer of brands such as Rolex, Burberry, and COACH. It was an amazing experience to work on a project that keeps company with such boutiques but also on a brand that has a client list of celebrity that includes Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Vin Diesel. This location is their fourth including Scottsdale and Denver and are set to expand in the near future. With their distinctive and bold style, Night Rider Jewelry is one to watch.
Contemporary Bronze Doors are a Dynamic Addition to the Renovation at Kohanaiki, Kona.
At over 67,000 square feet of interior and covered space, overlooking both the 18th hole and the sparkling blue Pacific, the Clubhouse at Kohanaiki, designed by world-renowned architect Shay Zak, focuses on every detail of design and construction making it both the crowning jewel of the coast and vibrant heart of the community. Working with sculptor Archie Held on patina is always a great pleasure. He works with a clientele that has a great appreciation of his contemporary fine art sculpture. Although Held's sculpture is sought after internationally, this particular project called for his ability to apply his fine art aesthetic to a functional entry design presentation. While still working with his trademark bronze, we were asked to create the patina that would elevate to the level of quality and design of the fabricated piece while still honoring the thread of contemporary sculpture. Archie’s choice of multiple textured bronze and majestic size proportion gave Karl the ultimate canvas for a superlative patina.
