COLEMAN HIGHLINE PROJECT, SAN JOSE, CA.
KARL REICHLEY SCULPTURE PATINA RESTORATION INC. was brought in on the Coleman Highline Project to create the patina finish on all of the COR-TEN Steel features throughout the property. Working with Hunter Properties, Gensler and Archie Held Studios, we were able to come up with a custom patina technique that highlighted the vignettes of the architectural structure as well as adding an Artistic Authentic Quality to the overall Development. The location of the Coleman Highline property not only is adjacent to the New Soccer Stadium, but runs parallel to the San Jose International Airport. The strategically placed steel staircases resonate a north, south, east and west concept of travel, replicating the Airport's growing clientele, incoming and departing from around the globe. The first phase of the development will consist of 330,000 square feet of office, a 150-room limited-service extended stay hotel and 15,000 square feet of pop-up retail. The entire project will consist of 1.5 million square feet of office, 300 hotel rooms and 30,000 square feet of retail space. We feel fortunate to have been involved in what will be considered an International Hub.
